Riding on the continued success of having Fala Chen as Helena Rubenstein’s ambassador since 2021, we had found a luxurious home location in Hong Kong that had both a view of the ocean and a highend interior design that was in line with the brand’s vision. However, plans were interrupted when Fala’s filming schedule shifted, resulting in a conflict with our campaign’s shooting date. After much discussion with the client, a decision was made to move the production to Macau where Fala was filming, shift the creative to adapt to a hotel setting and take on a more conversational tone, for a testimonial based approach. We rebuilt the team with a focus on being nimble and efficient. Props were limited to decorative pieces only, since we no longer had access to any large furniture pieces due to traveling restrictions.
